Jewel and rodeo champ hubby Ty Murray announced they're expecting their first child on Tuesday -- and the expectant singer is still staying in shape, Wild West-style.
"I have a few cowboy friends that I work out with," Jewel, 36, told UsMagazine.com Thursday at a Television Critics' Association event in Pasadena, Calif.. The "Who Will Save Your Soul?" chanteuse lives with Murray, 41, on a 2,200 acre ranch in Texas.
"We do cardio and running outside. Other times? I just go to to the gym."
Now in her second trimester, the star of Bravo's Going Platinum says she's "going to keep working out -- but you try to give yourself a break when you feel tired."
Otherwise, she says, "I'm doing really good. I found out I was pregnant at the beginning of shooting the show, so that was a little hard. I was tired, but other than that I'm good."
As for cravings, nothing nutty just yet, she confessed. "[I'm] just craving everything!"
She added that she and Murray (they wed in 2008) are "very excited" to become parents. "We can't wait!" Her man "treats me good," she gushed. Murray is "super ready" to become a dad.
The crooner says recording her 2009 children's songs album Lullaby "got me in the zone" of singing for kids.
Will she sing songs to her little one? "Definitely!"
