Flower power! Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott‘s daughter Stella celebrated her 5th birthday on Sunday, June 9, and the couple — also parents to Liam, 6, Hattie, 20 months, Finn, 9 months — went all out throwing their little girl a flower-themed party.
Spelling, 40, and McDermott, 46, shared a picture of the adorable birthday girl on Twitter. Stella wore hot pink top and sparkly green skirt, and showed off her presents while holding a giant pink balloon.
Before the big event, the couple shared their party plans with Us at The Palazzo and The Venetian CARNEVALE Pop-Up in Los Angeles on June 6.
“We’re doing a flower-themed party with Crocs, and it’s going to be pretty cool,” Spelling gushed to Us. “Stella and I have been diligently planning away and crafting. It’s going to be very DIY, of course, because she’s my little DIY goddess. She calls herself little craft-ista and she loves gardening, so that’s where the theme came from. We’re going to be planting and teaching the kids how to plant their own vegetables, flowers, berries and things.”
On June 6, Spelling wrote a special blog post devoted to her oldest daughter. “The moment Stella Doreen McDermott arrived it was love at first sight,” she wrote. “I always dreamed of being a mommy to a little girl who would share my loves of crafting, fashion, and food. Stella is truly a girl after my own heart. Her first three words in this order were Mama, shoes, and cheese.”
Spelling also told Us that Stella and Liam have fully embraced younger siblings Hattie and Finn.
“With four kids you always wonder, I hope the older two don’t feel jealous ever,” Tori explained. “There’s never been any of that with any of them. We got so lucky, they’re all so protective of each other!”
“They’re truly like this little band and they just love each other!” she added. “Liam is constantly looking out for Hattie and Finn and taking care of them, and Stella is like a total little mom.”
