After her unwed teenage daughter Bristol gave birth to Sarah's first grandson, however, the new mother said Sarah's viewpoint is "not realistic at all."

18You can tell what type of site this really is. There is NOTHING wrong with her parenting skills, she doesn't depend on Welfare or a reality show to pay her bills. People are soooo jealous of this woman and want to give her sh*t on her views, why is it that you can have YOUR VIEWS BUT SHE can NOT HAVE HER VIEWS?? Sarah Palin does NOT belong in this story. Its ridiculous to even think she is an irresponsible parent when compared to the Octo mom or Kate Gosslin and the other "stage moms" on this list. She's being included here because she dares to be conservative and nothing more. Liberals just can't stand anyone who happens to disagree with them, so much so, that they turn as ugly and venemous as any people in our society.

Abstinence only sounds great in theory. I myself tried to teach my kids that. But duh! We live in an age where peer pressure is everything! No matter what we teach them, or how good a job we do as parents, you can't expect your child to be perfect. You still have to be realistic, and teach about birth control, condoms, stds, etc. Just because they know about them doesn't mean you're giving them the ok to run out and have sex. You're giving them live saving information in some cases. I have 4 kids, my youngest is 20 and my oldest is 27. I don't have grandkids yet, and none are married, they are concentrating on education. Giving someone full information is a good thing, not a loaded weapon.

How would you do in her situation Sarah? I'm pretty sure you'd wreck far worse. All because her daughter got pregnant, doesn't mean she's a bad person. How old are you? Have you learned anything from life? Think what you want on your high horse until reality hits you in the face. Other people are probably thinking the same about you, judging you all they time. You're starting to sound like an advocate of abstinence only programs. Just wait until your kids are teenagers and we'll see how much hair you pull out then.
there are plenty of good mothers out there whose daughters got pregnant as teenagers! a 17 year old is more than old enough to take care of herself when it comes to sex! how could a mother be held responsible for what their 17 year old does?

I think Sarah Palin is a great role model. She does not back down when someone disagrees with her and Ashlee said it right. Her kids were not taken from her.
Everyone says Sara Palin is a horrible mother and that she doesn't know how to run her own household! We'll you can't stop teenagers from not having raging hormones,and I don't see none of her kids getting taken away from her,I respect her widely.

Yeah, Palin is just a monster - an intelligent, college educated self starter who rose from nothing to become one of the most powerful people in the U.S. Disagree with her beliefs - ok, you have that choice. But to disrespect her and treat her the way she has been treated is appauling.

This is the woman who allowed all out slaughter of wolves. And you can use low flying planes to do it. Not someone I want to even consider as president. And she has the nerve to start propaganda about "Death Panels", well she's already the president of one of those herself.

Just because Sarah belives in something doesn't mean her daughter belives in the same thing. Aren't we supposed to teach our kids to be their own person? And Sarah may have tried to teach her belives to her daughter but those with kids know that the kids don't always listen. You can teach your kid right from wrong but you can't live their life for them. Sarah's daughter isn't the only one that has kiids at a young age. Yet because her daughter did and Sarah is in the media she gets picked on.
