She may have had a "Happy Ending," but Avril Lavigne doesn't remember much of the in-between when it comes to her wedding day. The punk rocker made an appearance on the Nov. 12 episode of Chelsea Lately where she opened up about her July 2013 nuptials to hubby Chad Kroeger with host Chelsea Handler

"It was three days long. And I don't remember much of that. Oops," she said giggling. "It was in a castle, south of France, it was by the water. We got married at 9 o'clock at night, partied until 6 in the morning. Kinda remember the rest, but not."

The three-day extravaganza included a fireworks display on the Mediterranean and a late-late night dance party for the 50 guests. The bride wore a bejeweled flower headpiece with her black Monique Lhullier gown.

As much as she likes to have a good time, Lavigne, 29, has a new rule.

"We don't really party when we're away from each other," she revealed. "We want to cherish it. Take good care of it. We have to be responsible at some point."

And Handler, a token party girl herself, surprisingly agreed with the singer saying, "That's a good idea, I never thought of that."

Lavigne's wedding came as a surprise to fans, considering she and Kroeger had only been dating a month before getting engaged in August 2012.

The singer was first married to Sum 41 lead singer Deryck Whibley in July 2006, but officially divorced in November 2010. She's also been linked to reality star Brody Jenner, whose name she had tattooed on her upper ribcage while they were dating.
