Bachelorette star Justin "Rated R" Rego is lashing out at Ali Fedotowsky and the other guys for bashing him so much on Monday's Men Tell All special.
Rego — who didn't attend the reunion taping — was widely slammed on the show for two-timing Fedotowsky, 25. (Rego, a wrestler, had a girlfriend when he signed on for the hit ABC reality show). Contestant "Chris N" even called him a “s**t head" because he ruined a chance for another man who took the show seriously to find love.
In a statement to friends Tuesday, Rego said all the harsh words were unnecessary.
"Last night, as I sat at home and watched the Tell All Special, I couldn't help but feel sick to my stomach as I watched helplessly as my name and reputation were being tarnished," he wrote. “I was very disappointed by how low the show has stooped. I was mistaken to think that my exit episode was as low as that show could get. Was it just me or were they bashing me the entire episode??”
Rego said he was most disgusted by the show's producers.
"I am proud to say that I am not the kind of person that could be a producer for The Bachelorette," he continued. "Exploiting people and playing on insecurities and emotions, just to create good TV, is not my idea of a rewarding career!"
