What's going on here? Ben Affleck and Sienna Miller were spotted holding hands in between takes on the L.A. set of their new film, Live by Night, on Monday, Dec. 7.
Photos of the pair hanging out on the Los Angeles studio lot of the 1920s crime flick show Affleck, 43, in street clothes, while Miller, 33, is fully made-up in '20s-era regalia for her character. Both Affleck and Miller are among the many Hollywood stars who called it quits with their significant others over the past year.
The Argo actor, who is both directing and starring in Live by Night, and his wife of 10 years, Jennifer Garner, filed for divorce in July, while British actress Miller parted from her beau of four years, Tom Sturridge, in July as well.
The twosome also shared laughs over takeout food as they took a break from filming.
This isn't the first time the two were spotted getting close on set. While the cameras were rolling on Nov. 21 on location in Boston, Affleck and Miller shared a tender kiss in their period-approved costumes.
But it's not all romance on set for Affleck. The father of three, who plays the son of a Boston police captain that later becomes a notorious gangster in the film, appeared a little worse for wear at the L.A. studio on Dec. 8. He was sporting bandages and bruises along with a brace for a broken nose and a hospital gown, which exposed a large back tattoo. The injuries were clearly for his role in the Prohibition-era mobster movie, which is expected to hit theaters in 2017.
Affleck and Miller's exchange has Us thinking about another on-set hand-holding that sparked rumors about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The couple, who now have six kids and got married in August of 2014, were spotted hand in hand between takes while filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith in February of 2004. Pitt was famously still married to Jennifer Anniston at the time of filming.
