Brad Paisley: I've Turned Down Playgirl "a Few Times"

Brad Paisley is no Levi Johnston.
He has revealed that he has declined offers from Playgirl on more than a few occasions.
"I've actually turned that down," the country crooner, 36, tells Michigan-based radio station B93. "They've asked a few times, and no. They can forget it ... They ask everybody. They ask every male country singer. Trust me. No way. Not in a million years. That's just not what I'm about."

Paisley -- who welcomed his second child, Jasper, with wife Kimberly in April -- insists it isn't just because he is modest.
"I've got a lot of fans that are teenage girls here and there, and I don't want them buying that magazine just because I'm in it," he says. "I'm not going to promote that magazine. It's garbage. I'm sure there are fantastic articles, but that's not what I'm about."

Besides, Paisley adds, "some things are better left to the imagination, and that's one of them!"
Meanwhile, Johnston will be taking it all off at his shoot Nov. 16. "We're working on some athletic scene stuff for Levi: gyms, rinks, that sort of thing," his rep has said. Since Playgirl has ceased publication of its print edition as of last January, Johnston's photos will appear on Playgirl.com.

I love Brad Paisley, he seems to have a good head on his shoulders and hasent let how big a star he is go to his head. This is someone that you could imagine yourself hanging out with. Go Brad for staying out of trashy mags and celebrity gossip.
I think what Brad was trying to say without saying it is that he doesn't want to do gay porn, which is what Playgirl is since it's mostly gay men who buy it. Women haven't bought that junk since the 80's when Chippendales died out. And Brad should probably already know that teenage girls wouldn't be able to buy Playgirl anyway.
