Now here’s an unlikely pair. Britney Spears posted a photo of herself with Hillary Clinton on Instagram on Friday, February 19.
The singer was all smiles with the Democratic presidential candidate as they snapped this pic in Las Vegas, where Spears, 34, is performing her Piece of Me show, and Clinton, 69, is in town for the February 21 Democratic Caucus in Nevada. Exclaiming how delighted she was to meet the former secretary of state, Spears called her “such an inspiration and beautiful voice for women around the world,” adding that Clinton had “intense presence” and that she was “honored to meet her.”
Spears was quick to post a second photo of her with Clinton, this time with a bit of a defensive caption. “It’s a picture… Not an endorsement. Not a political affiliation,” she wrote, before adding, “Ridiculous. Just two women talking.” The caption has since been deleted from the post.
