It’s officially official between Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris — because he’s finally started following her on Instagram. (This matters, people!)
The “Summer” producer, who only follows 123 people, has made his affection for the “Blank Space” singer known by liking one of her most recent Instagrams — a funny video of her beloved cat Olivia Benson acting like a meerkat. (Swift, for her part, has yet to return the follow.)
Us Weekly exclusively revealed the two music prodigies were dating earlier this month, after they were first spotted getting cozy at the 2015 Brit Awards in February.
Following the awards show in London, Swift, 25, flew to Las Vegas to watch the world’s highest-paid DJ, 31, perform at Hakasan. The duo then spent time together in Nashville, where Swift’s been rehearsing for her upcoming 1989 world tour, and were photographed holding hands while leaving Los Angeles’ Troubadour club.
“Tay loves being in love, and the right guy has arrived,” a source told Us Weekly of the singer, who had been adamant about being single prior to hooking up with Harris. “She’s finally with an older guy who’s worldly, smart, and understands the industry. This is what she needed.”
