Soap opera star Charles Keating has died at the age of 72 after a long battle with cancer, The Wrap reports. The British actor was best known for his work on All My Children, Port Charles, and Another World, for which he won a Daytime Emmy in 1996.
The veteran actor also appeared in numerous films, including 1992's The Bodyguard, 1999's The Thomas Crown Affair, and 2005's Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo.
In addition to his work on soap operas, Keating also had guest roles on Sex and the City, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, and Xena: Warrior Princess.
He is survived by his wife Mary and their two sons.
