Man he looks awful for being in his 40's!

Loser. I don't believe he really wants to get clean. The producers have drawn a firm line and he's going because he has to. Wait & see..

Who really cares?? Every other day he is in the news for this and that. He has all of these kids by many different women. Does he care about them? No. His family needs to get help for themselves because Charlie will never get help for himself.

What came I say? he's not the only one with this problems (alcoholism and drug abuse). I hope he finds the way to take his madness inside him and take it away in a positive way. I'm not agree of what he had been doing to him and to thers (family, friends and his admirers) but, he's still human and he's not perfect. I hope he find the right way to deal with his emotional problems and don't let the lonliness destroy him. God bless him and anyone that has similar problems.

It won't last. He will not stick with it and will go back to his old ways in no time. He doesn't care about recovery; he simply wants to avoid the law.

addiction may or may not be a disease, but there are people who choose to fix it and work at it for the rest of their lives then there are ones like this idiot who just keep partying hard without thinkin about his family, career and coworkers. he's so selfsih

    He's not dead yet?

When will they cancel his show? Many other actors careers tank over smaller misgivings, but he keeps getting break after break. He is a horrible role model. It is a shame that network profit is the only driving force behind his career mainstay. I feel bad for Jon Cryer -- having to work with him and go on hiatus everytime this guy hits the brick wall. His co-stars don't deserve the fallout from his reckless behavior.

Colleen, cancer is a disease, addiction is a choice one makes every single day to do what they do. No one chooses to get cancer, but people choose to take a drink and do drugs. My best friend was an addict and he'll be the first one to say that he doesn't have a disease, he made the choices to do what he did!

How many chances does this guy get!? I think the show needs to write him out until he gets his act together, and continue filming without him! Good plot would be Herb moving in with Allen cause Judith is unbearable to live with anymore, and Allen stirs the pot about the baby possibly being his daughter! Teach Charlie a lesson and see if the show can survive without him for a while!

Face it Charlie you are not 20 anymore. Start acting like a responsible father to your little girls and grow up.

  • January 29, 2011 - 7:46am Colleen McGorman Kelley

January, obviously you or nobody you know struggles with addiction. Consider yourself and your loved ones very lucky. Addiction may not be caused by a germ or a virus but it IS most certainly a disease.

He only went, I'm sure, because his show made him. He'll only get better when he decides to do it himself. He is truly truly sad. He has his kids that are going to grow up without their dad. After this last bender, if he doesn't take getting help seriously, he won't live through the year. That is just so sad for his kids.

  • January 28, 2011 - 11:32pm Randy Bellows

    He's a disgusting skank.

  • January 28, 2011 - 10:52pm January Hawkins

Alexis, addiction is not a disease it's a weakness IMO. Charlie Sheen is a rich, overindulged jerk off. He obviously doesn't care about himself or his children.

  • January 28, 2011 - 10:32pm Stephanie Card

how many times has he been to rehab now? he was probably told to go by cbs or his lawyer. if he actually cared, he'd be better by now.

  • January 28, 2011 - 9:55pm Alexis Kendall

He has a disease which is called addiction and I truly hope he does reach out and get help with Dr. Drew Pinsky. I think Dr. Drew could help him greatly. I will pray for you Charlie! Get well Soon!

  • January 28, 2011 - 8:58pm Lori Ricker Griffis

I hope Charlie get's the help he needs if not for himself, because he doesn't seem to care, but for his FAMILY. They are the ones that seem like the only ones that do.
