"She's an amazing advice-giver," Chelsea Handler gushed with Paltrow, 40, at her side on the Monday, April 29 episode of Chelsea Lately. Exhibit A? During a recent dinner party with gal pals, the Iron Man 3 actress gave insightful — and dirty! — tips to a friend dealing with a romantic squabble.
"One of her friends is like, 'I got in a big fight with my husband and I went home and I just wanted to scream and yell,'" Handler recalled to Paltrow. "And you were like, 'Whatever you're doing, do the opposite. If you feel angry, go at him with love and you give him a b—job.'"
Humiliated by her pal's oral sex joke, Paltrow exclaimed, "Oh my god. What if my mother [Blythe Danner] sees this show?!"
"I'm already sending a copy of this show to your mother," Handler replied. "People need to know that you're like that. Because you are. I was like, 'give a—I'm not doing that!'"
Paltrow's naughty side also came out last week when she hit the red carpet for the April 25 — sans underpants — in a super-revealing Antonio Berardi dress that left little to the imagination. Her stylist Elizabeth Saltzman defended the dress choice, telling Us Weekly that the frock was "beautiful . . . cool, daring in a non-daring way. Nonthreatening. Elegant."
