Even though Glee lost out to Modern Family for Best Comedy Series Ensemble at Sunday's SAG Awards, the evening still proved to be a success for Chord Overstreet, who managed to meet his favorite esteemed actor!

The 22-year-old Glee star's big moment came after the SAG Awards had wrapped inside Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium, at one of the evening's after parties.

"Chord Overstreet met Brad Pitt, his idol, and was ecstatic about it!" a source from inside the event tells Us Weekly. "People literally stopped in their tracks as Brad and [Angelina Jolie] walked by -- you could overhear other celebrities talking about how beautiful and handsome they were."

Pitt, 48, who presented the award for Best Film Ensemble to the cast of The Help, received a nom for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for his role in Moneyball, but lost out to The Artist's Jean Dujardin.
