Corey Simms "Still Has Feelings" for Teen Mom 2's Leah Messer

Their marriage lasted a mere six months, but Corey Simms will always think fondly of his ex-wife, Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer.
"Corey still has feelings for Leah," a source close to Simms tells Us Weekly. "She is the only girl he ever really loved."

By late 2011, Messer had clearly moved on, accepting an engagement ring from Jeremy Calvert. "Corey is trying to move forward with his life, just as Leah has done," the source explains. "He is trying hard to get over her."

Messer, 19, and Simms, 21, have always had a rocky relationship. The two dated for one month, found out they were expecting, split up after the 2009 birth of their twins Aliannah and Aleeah, then reunited six months later. After moving in together, Simms proposed. They tied the knot on October 17, 2010; Messer filed for divorce the following April.

"Corey wishes his marriage would have worked out but he knows it's over. He knows in his heart he did all he could do to make it work," the Simms source tells Us. "He is staying busy working on his new house trying to get it ready for his girls."

4I really hated to see them split up! I really don't think Leah is that bad, noone sees what goes on in their "everyday lives" you just see what is aired on TV. Everyone makes mistakes, and I truely believe that Leah is sorry for what she done to Corey and I think she still loves him! I was hoping that they would stay together. I am not saying what Leah done was right, I am saying that she made a mistake and it was before they got married. I'm not saying everyone cheats, but COME ON, let's give her a break who doesn't make mistakes in life. They're my favorite couple, and I wish both Leah and Corey the best in life!
typos? Maney is spelled many. And I completely agree with Jennifer. He is out working hard and making the money and she is too busy cheating! I loved it when her lawyer said the one who takes care of the girls the most gets custody of them. Really? Of course Corey cant take care of the girls everyday, he actually has a full-time job. He doesn't just work one day a week like Leah does. Somebody has to support and feed his family, while she is busy getting her hair and nails done. And with her cheating history, Corey needs to get a paternity test. Those girls are probably Robbies!!!
He is sooooo better off without her cheating a**! She is nothing but a redneck, little skank who can't keep her legs closed!
These two have their heads on right I just think it was all too much too fast and they are very young. I wish them the best in finding happiness.
