Kopy kat. Reality TV star Courtney Stodden posted a nude photo of herself via Instagram on Tuesday, March 8, in an attempt to emulate Kim Kardashian‘s naked selfie from this past Monday, March 7.
In the same vein as Kardashian’s pic, Stodden’s selfie included black strips to censor the NSFW parts of her body. “Working on a new single! It’s coming out soon…” the Mother/Daughter Experiment: Celebrity Edition star, 21, captioned the racy bathroom shot. “Oh & I can’t find anything to wear either, Kim! #girlproblems #kimkardashian.”
Kardashian’s selfie sparked widespread debate among numerous celebrities this week, and even a feud between the KUWTK star, Bette Midler and Chloe Grace Moretz. Other stars to join the conversation included Miley Cyrus, Bella Thorne, Chrissy Teigen and Kim’s sisters Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian.
The situation got so intense on Tuesday, March 8, that Kim penned a blog post that night defending her naked selfie, her sex tape and more.

“I never understand why people get so bothered by what other people choose to do with their lives. I don’t do drugs, I hardly drink, I’ve never committed a crime—and yet I’m a bad role model for being proud of my body?” Kim wrote. “It always seems to come back around to my sex tape. Yes, a sex tape that was made 13 years ago. 13 YEARS AGO. Literally that lonnng ago. And people still want to talk about it?!?! I lived through the embarrassment and fear, and decided to say who cares, do better, move on.”
She also explained why she often poses naked for editorial shoots and shares nude photos of herself. “I am empowered by my body. I am empowered by my sexuality. I am empowered by feeling comfortable in my skin,” Kim continued. “I am empowered by showing the world my flaws and not being afraid of what anyone is going to say about me. And I hope that through this platform I have been given, I can encourage the same empowerment for girls and women all over the world.”
