Two weeks after father David Bowie’s death, Duncan Jones returned to Twitter to thank fans for their support.
“Hi all,” Jones, 44, wrote on Saturday, January 23. “Just wanted to thank you for the incredibly kind words & thoughts. I’ll be easing my way back into Twitter.”
Attached to the tweet, Jones included an image that reads, “Everything is good,” with three hands giving a thumbs-up.

The filmmaker confirmed his father's death on Twitter on January 10, writing, “Very sorry and sad to say it’s true. I’ll be offline for a while. Love to all.” He took a break from social media, only resurfacing once to share a thank-you letter to Bowie from a palliative care doctor.
The music legend died at age 69 after an 18-month battle with cancer. The British rocker, who was married to supermodel Iman, was best known for his hit songs “Heroes,” “Fame” and “Space Oddity.” Bowie's final album, Blackstar, which was released just two days before his death, became his first No. 1 on the Billboard charts last week.
