Delta Air Lines issued an apology on Saturday, November 26, after a passenger on one of its flights went on an expletive-filled rant in support of Donald Trump. The airline's statement comes after a viral Facebook video showed the man calling fellow passengers "Hillary bitches" and yelling his support for the 70-year-old president-elect.

Several online commenters questioned why the man wasn't removed from the flight.

"We are sorry to our customers who experienced this disruption," Delta said in a statement. "We have followed up with the teams involved and all agree that this customer should not have been allowed to continue on the flight. Our responsibility for ensuring all customers feel safe and comfortable with Delta includes requiring civil behavior from everyone. The behavior we see in this video does not square with our training or culture and follow up will continue so we can better ensure our employees will know they will be fully supported to make the right decisions when these issues arise."

Flight 248 was traveling from Atlanta to Allentown, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday, November 22.

In the 44-second video, which has since garnered more than 2 million views on Facebook, the unidentified passenger also says, "Donald Trump is your president, every goddamn one of you. If you don't like it, too bad," before sitting back down in his seat. The video was shared by Emma Baum, who captioned the post, "Didn't take long to notice that I'm back in 'Merica."

Baum, a 21-year-old Belize resident who was on her way to her hometown of Quakertown, Pennsylvania, to visit family, told the Chicago Tribune that she first noticed the man when he was chanting "make America great again" in the terminal before boarding the flight.

After telling the man she was going to record him on the plane, he said, "Go ahead! I want to tell everyone about Trump. I hope it goes viral!"
