Already been chewed?! Peter Dinklage was genuinely surprised when he won Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series at the 2015 Emmys on Sunday, Sept. 20. The Game of Thrones star, 46, sent Twitter ablaze after he seemingly spit his gum into his wife, Erica Schmidt’s, mouth prior to making his way onstage to accept his trophy.
After hearing his name announced as the winner for his portrayal of Tyrion Lannister, the shocked actor gave his wife two kisses. Schmidt, 40, being the amazing date she was, appeared to put her hands out to take his gum, but Dinklage instead went in for another kiss, seemingly ridding himself of his gum.

“I wasn’t prepared at all,” Dinklage told the audience during his speech. “I was even chewing gum.” As noted by Distractify.com, “was” is the keyword here.
“Did Peter Dinklage just give his gum to his wife with their mouths??? #Emmys #Marriage,” one fan reacted on Twitter, while another noted: “Everyone is losing their mind over Peter Dinklage possibly spitting his gum in his wife’s mouth and I’m like, ‘but they have a kid together.’”
