Ex: Eddie Cibrian Bought $85,000 Ring After Lowering Child Support

Is Eddie Cibrian broke or not?
According to his ex-wife Brandi Glanville, Cibrian recently lowered his child support payments because his income had waned -- but that didn't stop him from proposing to LeAnn Rimes with an $85,000 engagement ring.

"Look, I don't mind that he got her a ring but the timing wasn't obviously the best," Glanville tells Radar Online. "The truth is the communication is not great right now."
As Rimes, 28, flaunted her brand new bling (and her new breast implants) during a romantic Mexican getaway, Glanville was forced to find a new home while also taking care of sons Mason, 7, and Jake, 3.

"I'm looking for work and trying to get my real estate license but it is a gradual process," Glanville says. "I'm not saying Eddie is a bad guy, and he is a great father, but I just wish it all could be a lot easier."

Financial issues aside, an insider recently told UsMagazine.com that Glanville "couldn't care less" about Cibrian's recent engagement. (Cibrian was married to Glanville when Us Weekly broke the news that he was having an affair with Rimes, who was married to Dean Sheremet at the time).
"She never wanted Eddie back, so it didn't matter if they got engaged, broke up or whatever," the source told Us. "But now he's LeAnn's problem. She can wonder what he's doing on those boys-only trips, who he's always texting, who's at his poker nights. As long as she continues to be good to her two boys, it doesn't matter to Brandi."

There you go again Tamera Stankowski, trying to deflect from LeAnn and Eddie's atrocious behavior, and focus on a traffic ticket. You're not fooling anyone, it's not a big deal - just currently PC distraction from things truly relevant; like a adulterous dead-beat dad living the high life, purposely staying unemployed, enabled by LeAnn's wealth, to minimize CS payments so the kids will want to live with LeAnn and Eddie full-time and not their mother in a shack! That's the big deal in this grand scheme of things!
@Norwich, you really need to settle down. I was never defending LeAnn nor did I say Brandi was going to hell. Just because no one got hurt doesn't make it ok that she drove drunk. And as much as I dislike Eddie and LeAnn, they didn't force Brandi to drink and then get behind the wheel. They may have "drove her to drink" but SHE chose to get behind the wheel rather than getting cab. You're crazy to think it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, especially if you lost your nephew to a drunk driver.

And I too have lost two cousins and a dear friend to drunk drivers so the fact that she didn't hurt anyone doesn't make it ok. And you can't blame other people for her mistake, she is the one who decided to get behind the wheel. LeAnn and Eddie may have drove her to drink away her problems but they didn't make her drive.

I'm sure she bought the ring herself like Cristina said. She designed it so I'm sure she picked it out. If I were dating a broke guy and I was rich, I'd have no problem helping him pay for a nice ring since I'd be the one wearing it. Brandy should be happy that they are getting married. I don't know about the laws in California, but in NY LeeAnn would also be responsible for child support. Ching ching!

Tamera Stankowski: An isolated incident of a DUI does not make a person a "drunk" or an "alcoholic". Libelous assertion you made! Stop trying to make LeAnn look good by picking at one mistake of Brandi which she gracefully acknowledged. LeAnn has driven after drinking also, she just was fortunate enough without getting a traffic ticket. Brandi's going thru hell because of LeAnn, and LeAnn and Eddie are very intimately responsible to contributing to Brandi's state of mind and her DUI which resulted in no bodily injury or property damage - not a big deal in the schemes of things - just has been demonized lately. I lost a nephew to a drunk driver so spare me the violins about the possibilities when nothing actually happened. In all likelihood, you, your parents, siblings, spouse, friends etc have driven while "legally" drunk. Brandi's not going to hell for such behavior,whereas, LeAnn is for hers - that's a given!
