Justin Bieber Finally Allowed to Leave LAX After Being Detained

Justin Bieber has been released, his rep exclusively confirms to Us Weekly.

The “Boyfriend” singer was detained at LAX by U.S. Customs for almost four hours after touching down in Los Angeles on April 24.

The 20-year-old singer was returning from a stint in Asia. A black minivan and his entire entourage waited outside patiently while the Biebs was questioned.

A source close to the star tells Us Weekly: "It was a routine secondary set of questioning that Justin has to go through now every time he comes back in the country because he's a foreign national."

"It's standard, especially after he has had other legal issues in the U.S. in the past," the source clarifies.
