Here comes the groom! Gabrielle Union doesn't have to lift a finger when it comes to picking out favors and flowers for her upcoming nuptials. The reason? Fiance Dwyane Wade has taken the reins when it comes to their wedding plans!
"No, no. I'm doing wine tastings," Union said during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Tuesday. "He's -- secretly this is his princess moment. He has waited for this for a long time. He's been hoarding bridal magazines. He's very ready."
Indeed, the Miami Heat basketball player has been taking control of every detail, which has even surprised his bride-to-be. "Every aspect -- aspects I didn't even know went into wedding planning -- he is on," Union, 40, said. "To have a centerpiece or not have a centerpiece? He has very strong opinions. No centerpieces. Who cares? He does!"
The Think Like a Man Too actress and Wade, 31, first began dating in 2009 and announced their engagement via Instagram last December. The pair's nine-year age gap hasn't been an issue for them -- that is, until Union realized what kind of songs Wade was adding to their ceremony playlist.
"The biggest is for music," the actress told DeGeneres on what they disagree on most. "I want the OG's to play at our wedding. He wants Young Jeezy. I'm like, 'Ooh Patti LaBelle!' And he's like, 'Ariana Grande.' It's night and day."
"He's very particular about the music and the guest list," she added. "I think people are thinking it's a lot bigger than it is. They'll find out when…"
"They aren't invited?" DeGeneres jumped in. "Exactly," Union said, laughing.
