David and Katharine! Harrison and Calista! See Which Celebrity Couples Have Surprisingly Big Age Differences

Age is just a number — especially in Hollywood! Over the years, many celebrities have proven that age differences don’t matter one bit when it comes to true love. Take Katharine McPhee and David Foster for example. Us Weekly confirmed in July 2018 that the Grammy winner proposed to the Smash alum, who is 34 years his junior, after two years of dating. One year later, they tied the knot in July 2019. Over the course of their relationship, McPhee hasn’t been afraid to poke fun at their obvious age gap. “I’ll be the hottest step-grandma,” the Waitress alum tweeted in September 2018 in reference to Foster’s many grandchildren. However, the Broadway star has also opened up about her struggles with their generational gap. “I was very concerned with what people would think,” the American Idol alum said during a March 2021 episode of “Dr. Berlin’s Informed Pregnancy Podcast.” She added: “I’m not trying to skirt around the obvious. We have a huge age difference.” [jwplayer KvD3Go8N-zhNYySv2] On the podcast, McPhee recounted the pair’s path to love, noting that they were work acquaintances long before things turned romantic. “He actually came to my first wedding,” she said. “It was always this professional relationship, but I think looking back he was definitely enamored with me and I was taken with him.” Today, the couple are the parents of a son, Rennie, who was born in February 2021. Foster is also the father of five daughters from previous relationships. While some are older than McPhee, they’ve seemed to welcome their stepmother with open arms. In November 2019, Sara Foster called her father and his wife the “perfect couple.” "I don’t think they’ve ever had a fight,” she told Us exclusively. “I watch them, I’m just like, they figured it out. It’s beautiful." Another great example of age-defying love? Scott Disick and Amelia Gray Hamlin. While the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum is no stranger to dating younger women, a source told Us in April 2021 that the model and the Talentless designer — who have an 18-year age difference — work well together because of their gap. “Despite their age difference, they have more in common than people would think,” the insider shared. “He sees himself as being younger than he is. Amelia is really mature and acts older than she is, so they get along pretty well.” The New York native has also offered some insight of his own. “Everybody gets this wrong that I look for young girls,” the reality star explained during the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion in June 2021. “I don’t go out looking for young girls — they happen to be attracted to me because I look young. The White Lotus actress and the producer tied the knot in June 2022 after getting engaged in August 2021. Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson: 13 Years

After connecting when Kardashian made her Saturday Night Live hosting debut in October 2021, the couple took their romance public one month later. The Skims founder has frequently gushed about her beau and how "content" she is with their low-key date nights. "It feels good just to know that, like, we have this connection and we have our little bubble of a relationship world that we live in that, like, not a lot of people know about," she told Hoda Kotb in April 2022.

"Everyone in Kim’s family absolutely adores Pete and loves Pete for Kim. He fits in so well with her life and with her family," a source exclusively told Us one month later, noting that the couple "are even happier" after making their romance red carpet official in late April 2022. "Kim has also made Pete grow up in a big way and think about his future and business in a huge way."

Us confirmed in August 2022 that the pair split after less than one year together.

Scott Disick and Rebecca Donaldson: 11 Years

The Talentless founder was first spotted with the Scottish model in early April 2022 and they seemed to confirm their romance a few days later when she attended the premiere of Hulu's The Kardashians on his arm. "So far it’s going well. He’s very attracted to her," a source told Us exclusively in April 2022. “Him introducing her to the family and having her at the Kardashian premiere meant a lot to him. ... It’s still a new relationship and he’s taking it day by day."

The pair’s whirlwind romance fizzled by June 2022, a source told Us at the time.

Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble: 25 Years

The momager met Gamble in 2014 at a party thrown by her then-son-in-law Kanye West and he first appeared on Keeping Up With the Kardashians one year later. “He’s great. Corey is so easy and, at the same time, so smart and intelligent,” Jenner told Us in July 2018 about her relationship. “He’s always one step ahead of me, and he loves the kids, and the kids love him, and he loves the grandchildren. After meeting on the set of Law & Order: SVU in 2016, Stamos popped the question during a trip to Disneyland in October 2017. Us confirmed that they were expecting their first child two months before their February 2018 wedding, and McHugh gave birth to their son, Billy, in April of that year. "Sometimes I have to pinch myself and ask what I did to deserve such a beautiful family. The word gratitude is hardly enough, but I am grateful!" the Full House alum wrote via Instagram in October 2021.

One year after meeting in Shigo, Japan, the couple tied the knot in an intimate Las Vegas ceremony in February 2021. “I thought she was stunning when I met her. We had a lot in common,” Cage told Entertainment Tonight in July 2021. “She likes animals, too, so I asked her, ‘Do you have any pets?’ And she said, ‘Yes, I have flying squirrels.’ She had two sugar gliders. ... After reaching out to the Quantico alum via Twitter in September 2016, the pair quietly began dating in early 2018 before Us confirmed their relationship in May of that year. A source told Us at the time that Jonas, who is 10 years younger than Chopra Jonas, "loves women who are mature like him, [which] usually means he dates a little outside of his age bracket." The singer popped the question just two months later, and the pair tied the knot in two separate ceremonies in India in December 2018. They welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Malti Marie, via surrogate in January 2022.

The couple first sparked dating rumors in April 2019, shortly after Pugh starred in Braff's short film, In the Time It Takes to Get There, earlier that year. They confirmed their romance in December 2019 and in the years since, the Oscar nominee has defended her relationship from criticism over their age difference. “I have the right to hang out and be with and go out with anyone I want to,” Pugh told Elle UK in June 2020. “I’ve always found this part of what people do really bizarre. The Black Widow star announced in August 2022 that the duo had quietly parted ways several months earlier.

Casey Affleck and Caylee Cowan: 23 Years

The Oscar winner confirmed his romance with Cowan in November 2021 shortly after PDA snaps of the pair made headlines.

Scott Disick and Amelia Gray Hamlin: 18 Years

Since they were first linked in October 2020, the pair have defended their age difference many times over. “People can embrace themselves however they feel fit for them at that moment in time,” Amelia wrote via her Instagram Story in December 2020. “People grow. People learn to love themselves more and more.” They called it quits in September 2021.
