I would just tell anyone reading this to continue with your check ups even after surgery. I was at stage 3c and went through it all and did not get reconstructive surgery so each morning I wake up look at myself in the mirror and say I made it another day. I live each day knowing my chances of the cancer returning is very high and make that day as if it could be my last.

I'm happy she can see the positives in things - breasts are awesome, but compared to your LIFE, get 'em off if there's a problem! It helps so much to have a fun, upbeat attitude...if you allow yourself to sink into a depression of 'why me' you're doomed and it delays the healing process I believe! Way to go Guiliana, can't wait to see you back on Fashion Police

Glad to hear everything went well....I went through the same thing 8 months ago.I had a lumpectomy to get the cancer out.....then found out the margins weren't clean (still had the cancer) I said..."NO" to the mastectomy!!! I gave it some thought and a few weeks later had the mastectomy...I know I made the right descision for me....I wanted to live!!!! I had the reconstruction, nipple etc. Im doing great and cancer free!! It will take time to recover.....hang in there and you'll do great!
