Guy Ritchie: Madonna is "Retarded"

Guy Ritchie has mixed feelings about his ex-wife Madonna. "I still love her," he says in the November issue of Esquire. "But she's retarded, too. "She's a manifester, if there ever was one," he says. "First-rate manifester. Madonna makes things happen. Put Madonna up against any 23-year-old, she'll outwork them, outdance them, outperform them. The woman is broad." She also referred to her marriage to director Guy Ritchie as "the Bush years." Sniped the singer, "It was a good time to be out of America."

49Madonna is many things but mentally challenged is NOT one of them, (fact) Being blessed with a good but not spectacular voice (opinion) she made herself into a superstar by using what she has, unique looks and a good figure and a talent for displaying them. She is probably VERY intelligent. I am not in agreement with her politics, but I respect her as a person and entertainer. Mentally challenged are all the women displaying themselves for free on the internet... getting rich for it...that takes brains. Lady Gaga is a chip off the same block. I don't much like her music but I suspect she knows what she is doing.
I don't think Guy should have insulted the retarded like that. They're far more tolerable than Madonna.

Billiant come back on Guy Ritchie's part considering that Madonna called him "emotionally retarded" a few months ago, right after the split, during a performance. I don't think he has much depth as a thinker, obviously, since he could only mock HER criticism rather than think of something unique and all his own. I can kind of see why she left him. Intellect feeds off intellect, and a lack of intellect on one spouses part can certainly starve the other into looking for it elsewhere. He seems pretty slow so I am surprised she stayed with him as long as she did. Plus, she has always had a thing for Latino men and Ritchie is anything but. LoL!
