Score one for Hugh Grant.

On Wednesday, a British judge demanded that UK police disclose whether journalists from now-defunct tabloid News of the World broke into Grant's phone and accessed his voicemail, the Associated Press reports.

Socialite Jemima Khan (a former Grant girlfriend) was also given the right to see phone hacking evidence. Grant's court victory is, of course, part of a much larger scandal involving News of the World, which closed its doors earlier this month after 168 years amid wire-tapping and other crimes.

Grant was one of the first celebs to publicly criticize -- and seek court action -- against the British tabloid.
