Iman, David Bowie’s wife of 24 years, broke her social media silence on Saturday, February 6, with her first message since the rocker’s death.
The supermodel, 60, shared a simple quote on Instagram, reading, “‘Love & Gratitude,’ Iman.”
Bowie, who was known for being one of the most innovative musicians in the world, died on January 10 at the age of 69 following a battle with cancer.
On Tuesday, February 2, Iman was spotted for the first time since her husband’s death, walking her dog in New York City.
“Iman is torn apart,” a source close to the couple told Us Weekly in January.
According to the New York Post's Page Six, Bowie left his $100 million estate to his wife, two children — Duncan, 44, and Lexi, 15 — his assistant and Duncan’s former nanny.
