Blond bombshell birthday girl! Jennifer Aniston hit the set of her new movie, the Untitled Elmore Leonard Project, on Tuesday, Feb. 12 looking happy and sexy in a platinum blonde wig.

The actress had a big smile on her face on the Stamford, Conn. set, after marking her 44th birthday the day before. "They just come rapid-fire," Aniston joked about her birthday in an interview with Women's Wear Daily on Feb. 10. "I feel like the last one just happened! I want to say, 'Let's slow down.' I have fun all the time, so I'm not worried. I can have a form of a birthday any day."

And why wouldn't Aniston have every reason to be happy? The Wanderlust star became engaged to actor Justin Theroux in August 2012, and she's been busy filming back-to-back movies.

"It's a quick, five-week shoot, and we're having a ball," Aniston told WWD of her new project. "The director, Daniel Schechter, really knows what he wants. It's a dark thriller-caper comedy, and Tim Robbins and Isla Fisher are also featured."

Why is it still untitled? "The book's called The Switch, but we can't use that given I did a movie with the same name a few years ago," she explained, referring to the 2010 movie in which she starred opposite Jason Bateman.

Like her last project, We're the Millers, Aniston has been wearing a wig on set. But hopefully this wig works a little better.

"It was about 100 percent humidity, so the frizz factor was through the roof," Aniston explained of filming in North Carolina. "I brought along Living Proof products with a healthy skepticism. I wore a half-wig on this film, and the girl who was washing the hairpiece wasn't using my shampoo," the actress, a spokeswoman for the hair care line Living Proof, said. "So we would go outside and the rest of my hair would be totally tame and perfect, and the top [wig] part —- which I called my toupee — would just start to look like pubic hair. It would take on a whole new texture of its own. I kept thinking, 'This is funny. Someone should be rolling a camera on this, right here.'"
