Jennifer Lopez Arrives in Ukraine for Reported $1 Million Wedding Gig

Jennifer Lopez's recent split from Marc Anthony hasn't slowed down her work schedule.
Days after announcing their breakup, the American Idol judge flew to the Ukraine to perform at a wedding for billionaire Serhiy Taruta's daughter. Arriving at 5 a.m. Tuesday, the 41-year-old superstar will reportedly earn $1 million for the gig.

Perhaps some time away from L.A. will be good for Lopez, who was married to 42-year-old Anthony for seven years. "She is devastated," a source told Us Weekly Monday. "Absolutely beside herself. This is someone she dedicated a long time to, and that she truly loved."

"She tried everything she could to make it work," the source added. "They went to marriage counseling. She was patient and loving and did everything he wanted her to. She exhausted all the possibilities."
Lopez has found solace through work in the wake of her recent breakup. On Saturday, the "I'm Into You" singer arrived at MILK studios in L.A. to shoot a fall ad campaign for her Kohl's clothing line.

"She is jumping back into work and being a mom with all her energy and she is really excited," a second insider told Us. "She feels like she has grown leaps and bounds and is a new person now, better than ever!"

15I would have not wasted $1 on this chick. That's crazy. I would have paid someone with talent to sing at my daugher's wedding. But oh well as long as there is bad taste there will always be these mediocre singing somewhere. The reason why this marriage didnt work is because what goes around comes around. He was married when he hooked up. I'm sure Dayanara feels so happy right now.
The problem with JLo is that she wants to be everywhere and do everything music, movie, AI, commercial, Ads for magazines, etc. Nothing wrong with a woman who wants it all but you can't have a successful marriage, take care of your children and be everywhere. It would be difficult to juggle.
There is so much negative gossip about this break-up, I don't believe any of it. However, it is sad that things did not work out for them. I feel for their children. I wish them both the best in the future.
You can't make a marriage work if you live with a jealous man who tries to control your every move out of his own insecurities. I don't care how hard you try, it will fail! It's just sad for their kids. I would be willing to bet he was controlling before she ever got knocked up though. Shame on them, shame on most of Hollyweird for their 2 minute marriages. It's truly truly pathetic!!

I never had any faith in this couple from the beginning. Like most celebrities, she is way over paid.
Marc Anthony was probably nothing more then a rebound for J-Lo when she was dumped by the big love of her life, Ben Affleck. But she made a go of it with Marc, & had the children she wanted so much. There will never be another Bennefer though. Lopez & Affleck were one gorgeous couple.
Jlo have great PR. AFter all she has all the money to pay for it.

Poor Jlo. She tried SO hard in all 3 of her marriages to make them work. Poor thing. I'm sure she'll try equally hard in her next 5 or 6 marriages.
