Jessica Simpson Twitters About "Cruel" Missing Dog Calls

Jessica Simpson doesn't appreciate the false information her loved ones have received from pranksters claiming her lost Maltipoo Daisy is alive.

"People who have been contacting my family and friends saying that Daisy has been found," the star, 29, Twittered on Sunday. "Untrue. People are so cruel... please respect her memory."
Daisy, the five-year-old dog who was a gift from ex-husband Nick Lachey, was dragged away by a coyote in her Los Angeles backyard in September.

"A coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR!" Simpson posted last month.
After a week of searching -- which included hanging posters that offered a reward and enlisting professional pet finders FindToto.com -- Daisy was never recovered.

Simpson was most recently in Morocco where she continued filming her upcoming VH1 reality show, The Price of Beauty.

After my puppy went missing I put up signs everywhere and I received the same cruel phone calls. I think it is so sad and hateful people think this is humorous. I feel terribly for her as if losing daisy was not painful enough.
The world is full of cruel, uncaring people, more so than not. Look out your front door. Nobody cares about others.

Wow anonymous @ 1047 you sound bitter. You and I have no idea the circumstances in which her dog was taken away by a coyote. It's a traumatic event losing a pet loved so dearly and how sad that you have to mention Jessica's body.
how dumb! A coyote too your dog right before your eyes and you are still searching for it..to recover what? Bones or fur? So dumb!
if jessica loved her dog so much she would have invested some of her cash in a large enclosed pen that daisy could run around in and still be protected from the coyotes. but that idiot jessica probably didn't want to ruin the aesthetics of her perfectly manicured california lawn. jessica killed daisy by being so stupid. she should not be allowed to own another animal ever. nick...you should have taken daisy away from jessica...she would be alive right now if you had. i wish jessica had gotten it by the coyote and not poor daisy. atleast the coyote could have ripped some poundage off of jessica's big fat ass.
