Sticks and stones! Jimmy Kimmel Live's hilarious show segment Mean Tweets was back on air on Thursday, Nov. 20, and the eighth edition of the star-studded segment was as jaw-achingly funny as ever.

An array of A-list celebs from Britney Spears to Gwyneth Paltrow were filmed reading out some of the nastiest tweets found about them online, with various hilarious reactions.

Paltrow, who was called an "ugly ass big bird looking bitch" seemed to be genuinely hurt by the outburst, whereas Friends alum Lisa Kudrow couldn't stop cracking up when her mean tweeter wished all her followers a "great weekend! Except you, Lisa Kudrow. F--k you."

Spears found her tweet similarly hysterical as she read out a request for a little less Britney on the radio. "Quit forcing your suckage on me you tired hag!" she read out, bursting out laughing as she got towards the end.

Gerard Butler and John Stamos responded to their mean tweeters (if you're interested no, Butler doesn't have a student loan, he just makes sh-t films. And yes, Stamos agrees, he does have a gross belly button — and he showed us!)

Watch the whole video above to see how Lena Durham, Ty Burrell, Bob Newhart, Gina Davis, Chloe Moretz, Chris Pratt, and — most hilariously — Scott Foley, had to say about their tweets.
