Better after breakup! Jordin Sparks is embracing the single life in a major way, reinventing herself as a sultry sex symbol in her new music video.

The American Idol alum, 25, debuted "Double Tap" on Wednesday, March 11. The track is Sparks' first single since her talked-about split from longtime love Jason Derulo this past September.

Sparks is clearly back on the market in the steamy new visuals, singing about flirting on Instagram as she traipses around in barely there outfits and gets close to a new leading man.

Showing off her toned body in a sheer black crop top and taking alluring videos of herself posing on a bed, the singer croons, "Baby, on the low / You stay on my page cause I guess I'm your favorite / But you won't let it show, no way / If you like what you see then you gotta let me know / That you won't double tap that ho / That you won't double tap that ho."

Referencing Instagram's liking action, Sparks is soon joined on the track by rapper 2 Chainz. The collaboration is a new sound for the Grammy-nominated artist, who rose to fame with chart-topping hits like 2007's "Tattoo," 2008's "No Air," and 2009's "Battlefield."

"Double Tap" is the first cut off Sparks' upcoming third studio album Right Here, Right Now. She released her last record, Battlefield, in 2009, shortly before she started dating Derulo, 25.

The couple had a bit of a messy breakup after three years together, shocking fans with the news that they were parting ways after months of dropping hints about marriage and a family.

Derulo revealed that he broke up with Sparks over the phone, and she may be getting her revenge through her reinvented image as a single vixen on the prowl. Catch a new side to the singer in the video above!
