Naked love scenes can be super embarrassing to film — but not if you're Katherine Heigl.
When the script of her new NBC show State of Affairs called for her to disrobe during filming, the actress, 35, got a little moral support: Her all-male crew decided to go topless and keep her company!
The former Grey's Anatomy star shared a hilarious snap via Instagram on Thursday, Oct 2, showing herself on a bed, wrapped in nothing but a white sheet, alongside a crowd of barely dressed males.
Her costar, Mark Tallman, was down to his boxers while other crew members (even creator and writer Joe Carnahan) laughed and posed with their shirts off, exposing their bare chests.
"Nope I haven't gone into the adult film business..." the mom-of-two wrote in a caption for the snap, "just having a little fun w/ my amazingly supportive crew who shed their shirts in solidarity!! Love you all!!"
Heigl's new series premieres on Monday, Nov. 17. It will be the first time the actress has appeared on a TV show since her dramatic exit from Grey's Anatomy four years ago.
The actress, who has two adopted children, Naleigh, 5, and Adalaide, 2, explained her work hiatus to Good Housekeeping magazine recently.
"I would come home angry and frustrated that I'd missed everything with my kid that day," she told the magazine of working after Naleigh’s adoption in 2009. "I didn't get to wake her up from her nap, or do bath time or bedtime. I'd have to sneak into her room and kiss her when she was sleeping, hoping not to wake her up."
