Katy Perry Tops Maxim's 2010 Hot 100 List; Angelina No. 38

Katy Perry has hit a high note: She's been named No. 1 on Maxim's 2010 Hot 100.
The 25-year-old singer - who's engaged to Russell Brand and drops a new album this summer - is "a triple -- no, quadruple -- kind of hot," Maxim Editor-in-Chief Joe Levy tells UsMagazine.com. "It's that feeling you get when you suddenly realize that the smartest, funniest, coolest girl you know also happens to the best looking and a pretty good skateboarder, too. All of sudden, your crush goes supernova, and this is Katy’s supernova moment."

Brooklyn Decker, who landed the coveted cover girl spot on this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, ranked No. 2, edging out Zoë Saldana (No. 3) and Blake Lively (No. 4). "This fiery Victoria’s Secret model makes even our female staff stop and stare," the Maxim editor told Us.

Megan Fox, who was No. 2 last year, slipped to No. 5. The magazine still calls her "a sex symbol for the ages. Megan’s sultry looks hit every red-blooded guy right in the gut."

Rounding out the top 5: Rihanna, George Clooney's Italian girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis, Olivia Munn, Kim Kardashian and model Marisa Miller.
Last year's No. 1 girl, House star Olivia Wilde, dipped to No. 20. Wilde still managed to edge out Taylor Swift and Jessica Biel (Nos. 31 and 32, respectively) and Angelina Jolie (No. 38).

I am no beauty queen but Katy Perry top woman yeah okies whatever.Sometimes whose on this list surprises me like Kelly Ripa the woman with the body of a 14 year old boy. I know some people are saying yay a real woman but ummm I dont think Katy should be anywhere near the top spot.

It seems kinda awkward that Katy Perry tops the annual Maxim Hot 100 yet Selita Ebanks graces the June cover. I think the men's magazine did a terrible job this year. Brooklyn Decker #2, Zoe Saldana #3, Blake Lively #4 & Megan Fox #5? You've got to be kidding me! I think there are hotter looking women than the one who "Kissed a Girl" a couple years ago and will soon tie the knot with a British comic in Russell Brand that I don't find very funny at all. Katy Perry the hottest woman in entertainment? Not a chance!

Nice to know that no matter how much women achieve intellectually, at the end of the day, they'll always be judged by their looks and age. Thanks for the reminder. I hope these chicks don't get too comfortable on the list because it will be short-lived. The men at Maxim will replace them with younger bimbos soon, at which point they'll desperately get plastic surgery to try to continue to appeal to the superficial men of the world...sad.
