Kelly Osbourne fainted on the set of E!’s “Fashion Police” on Thursday, the network has confirmed.
"She was taken to a local hospital for further testing and is awake, alert and in stable condition," her rep said in a statement. "She will be staying overnight for observation as a precautionary measure. There are no further details at this time."
Initial reports speculated that the 28-year-old daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne had suffered a seizure.
According to TMZ, Osbourne was shooting in front of a studio audience when she turned to Melissa Rivers, who is filling in for Giuliana Rancic, and said, “I don’t feel good.” She then fell out of her chair and began shaking. Rivers rushed to her side and turned her head. Someone in the audience with medical training also rushed the stage to assist. Osbourne reportedly came to a few moments later, but her team wanted her to be checked out at the hospital just in case.
As she was brought out to an ambulance waiting outside, Osbourne's body and face was shielded by a white sheet, according to a photo taken at the scene outside the E! offices.
Osbourne has been a panelist on the show since 2010.
