Kendall Jenner is spreading her wings. On Tuesday, the 18-year-old stunner made further strides to separate herself from her reality starlet start by strutting her stuff in Chanel's Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2014-2015 show at the Grand Palais at Paris Fashion Week.
Clad in a dramatic red-and-black plaid off-the-shoulder column dress replete with feathers (lots of feathers!) and a jewel-encrusted embellishment, the brunette beauty put a punk twist on the classic Chanel tweed. Her hair, piled high on her head, was anchored in place by a sequined hat, and her look was completed with a matching feather-and-chain bag, iridescent eye shadow, and jeweled thong sandals.
Naturally, the teen took to Instagram to share a backstage snap.
"Birdies backstage #ChanelCouture" she captioned the stunning black-and-white shot.
Her famous mom-ager, Kris Jenner, was quick to follow suit, sharing a photo of her daughter on the runway and gushing, "WOW!!! Congratulations @kendalljenner you look so beautiful walking in the Chanel Couture show just now!!!!! I'm so proud of you! Fabulous show @karllagerfeld #KarlLagerfeld #Paris #ChanelCoutureFallWinter2014 #Stunning."
If there was any doubt that Kendall was going to be able to fly the coop from her reality TV family and make it as a high fashion model in her own right, we're pretty sure this show will put those questions to rest.
Sure, she had already walked in a smattering of shows for top designers including Marc Jacobs and was recently tapped as one of the new faces for Givenchy, but it's not just any model who can make a punk-inspired boa look like a million bucks. This little birdie has left the nest, indeed.
