Nnamdi's handling it! Kerry Washington's growing baby bump made its awards-season red carpet debut at the 2014 Golden Globes in Beverly Hills Sunday, Jan. 12 -- and so did her rarely-seen husband Nnamdi Asomugha! The resolutely private couple -- whose June 2012 wedding took everyone by surprise -- rarely step out together for Washington's Hollywood events. But the handsome, recently retired NFL pro, 32, was by his pregnant wife's side at afterparties on Sunday.

Wearing a Gucci black peak lapel one button Signoria tuxedo with a white evening shirt, black tie and a pair of black leather laceups, Asomugha escorted his stunning wife at the Weinstein Company and Netflix bash (resented by Bombardier, FIJI Water, Lexus, Laura Mercier, Marie Claire And Yucaipa Films) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where he was snapped in a rare photo with his wife. The nominated Scandal star, 36, was eager to greet Fruitvale Station actress Melonie Diaz at the fete for a quick chat. "This is my husband," Washington was overheard telling Diaz, 29. "We loved you in the movie [Fruitvale]!"

On the red carpet before the awards show, Washington gushed about her Balenciaga gown designed by Alexander Wang. "I feel very blessed," she told reporters. "Life is truly extraordinary right now."

She spoke briefly was Extra's Mario Lopez about their baby-to-be as well. "I don't want to give up too much information, but it's going great!" How is her Scandal costume designer Lyn Paolo dealing with her baby bump onscreen? "We're handling it, as Olivia Pope, would say. . . She and I are having a really good time in keeping the fashion elevated, but still making room for this little human."
