Still something there! Since their split in September, Khloe Kardashian and her ex-boyfriend French Montana have remained close, with the rapper attending the birthday party of Kardashian’s half-sister Kendall Jenner earlier this month. Then on Sunday, Nov. 9, the reality star, 30, wished her former beau a happy 30th birthday on Instagram.
“Happy birthday baby boy! In only a short amount of time we have created timeless memories,” she captioned the romantic beach shot of the ex-couple. “Happy birthday to a man who genuinely lives life to its fullest. ‘What’s understood doesn’t need to be explained’ @frenchmontana I can’t wait to celebrate life with you tonight! You deserve it!!”
Apparently some of Kardashian’s followers had some negative backlash to her post, and true to form, she gave the haters some of signature sass.
“I guess some people don’t have genuine love for people anymore,” she tweeted minutes later. “Blows my mind how critical human beings are these days. Love is love! Some of yall need a hug!”
The two have remained aloof about the status of their relationship, with French telling Us in October, “Our relationship — you break up, you make up, you break up, you make up. We went through that a couple times. You never know.”
For Kardashian’s 30th birthday in June, her then-boyfriend bought her a brand new Jeep and $30,000 worth of jewelry, so she’d better have a good present idea!
