Khloé Kardashian is proud of her estranged husband Lamar Odom’s strength. The reality star revealed her ex, who has been in the hospital since October 2015 after being found unconscious at a legal brothel in Nevada, is doing much better.

“Lamar is good,” the Kocktails With Khloé star, 31, told reporters during her new talk show’s panel at the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour in Pasadena, California, on Wednesday, January 6.

“I’m just there to support and care for him,” she added when asked to elaborate on his health. “But he is doing amazing and I’m so proud of the strength that he has to fight this battle that’s his battle, and I’m so grateful for everybody’s love and concern because I think it is coming from a good place.”

As previously reported, the former NBA star, 36, has improved after being in a coma for days in October, and is now able to walk briefly on his own without a walker. A source previously told Us that Odom is also close to moving from Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai hospital to a rehab facility for outpatient care.

Kardashian’s new talk show, Kocktails With Khloé, will address personal topics, including the former Laker star.

“Definitely,” she told reporters when asked if topics such as Odom will be discussed on the FYI Network show. “Because it’s such a conversational show, and I am kind of bantering with my friends. It does come up, because it’s my life, so if someone is pulling a story from their life it’s so easy for me to throw one back at them. So far it’s happened that I’ve been very conversational with that, but I’m not going to force it. That’s how it’s been so far.”

Kocktails With Khloé premieres on FYI Wednesday, January 20, at 10 p.m. EST.
