In Khloe Kardashian's eyes, Scott Disick had a lot to prove.
For years, the two butted heads over Disick's relationship with her older sister Kourtney (as documented on multiple episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians and Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami). But in a new interview with Aventura Magazine, 27-year-old Khloe admits that former bad boy Disick, 28, has since redeemed himself.
"Scott is so much better now," Khloe admits. "He has worked hard and fights his demons. Plus, he is a great dad and good to Kourtney. I never thought I would be saying something like this, even a year ago. But I give credit where credit is due."
Already parents to son Mason, 2, Disick and Kourtney, 33, are currently expecting their second child, and Khloe has faith that Disick will continue to be a devoted father and boyfriend.
"I think he's nervous to have a little girl because I think guys know what they were like when they were younger, and they don't want their daughters to go through that," she laughed to Us Weekly at the opening of Disick's New York City restaurant RYU Monday. "So I'm sure he's going to be a little protective. I think he's an amazing dad and I'm sure Mason will be protective, too."
Disick confirmed that he "may be more protective" with his little girl, but added that it's hard to "predict how it will be."
"There aren't any manuals, unfortunately," Disick told Us. "They should write more manuals on how to raise kids because it's tough, you know? I'm excited though, of course, and I can't wait."
