Kim Kardashian: Divorce Was "Not an Easy Decision"

Hours after news broke that she filed for divorce from Kris Humphries following just two months of marriage, the reality star, 31, released a statement to Us Weekly.

"After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage," she says of Humphries, 26, whom she wed in a notoriously lavish Aug. 20 wedding in Montecito, Calif.
"I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best."
