Keeping Up With the Kardashians (and Jenners!) is a lot easier in the age of Instagram. Even Kim Kardashian uses the photo-sharing app to track her globe-trotting famous family from afar.
"Being a big sister, I want to know what's going on in [my sisters'] lives," the reality star, 34, told The Hollywood Reporter recently of Kourtney, 35, Khloe, 30, Kendall, 19, and Kylie, 17. "I can look on Instagram and be comforted in knowing where Kendall is," she added of the jet-setting, in-demand model, who has walked runways all over the world.
She's not the only one who keeps tabs on her siblings that way. "My stepdad [Bruce Jenner] has a secret account," she revealed to THR of the former Olympian, 65. "He told me that he set it up so he can see what my sisters are doing, too."
Kim — who has 28.4 million Instagram followers, more than anyone else in her family — was chatting with THR about her social media strategy. Last year, she had the most liked Instagram photo ever, a picture of her kissing husband Kanye West in front of a wall of flowers on their May 24 wedding day in Italy.
"I don't have help," she told the mag. "No one else runs my social media. It's whatever I feel like posting. From collages and screen grabs and cropping, it's a whole process, and I do it. I also don't do filters. I can't ever figure it out, and I don't like the way they look, so I'd rather not bother."
Another thing she hates? Cryptic sayings or quotes. "I only like what inspires me," she shared. "I don't like it when people post quotes all the time."
Incidentally, Khloe has been known to post a lot of quotes via Instagram, particularly when she's going through any kind of romantic drama. Her most recent quote, attributed to poet R.M. Drake, was shared on March 19: "Maybe we feel empty because we leave pieces of ourselves in everything we used to love."
