Kim Zolciak might not have won the Mirrorball Trophy, but she has one heck of a husband and family. In two sweet Instagram posts, the Don’t Be Tardy star thanked Kroy Biermann and the rest of her clan for getting her through her recent health scare and Dancing With the Stars elimination.
“So happy I'm your wife @kroybiermann #MyWholeWorld #MyJuicy #MyBestFriend #IHaveADreamHeBuildsIt,” Zolciak captioned a throwback photo shot by Derek Blanks on Wednesday, Sept. 30, from her 2011 fairy tale wedding.
“I’m so very grateful for these people in my life,” she began a second lengthy Instagram caption, calling out her hubby, kids, DWTS pro partner, Tony Dovolani, and fans for all that they did to cheer her up and help her after her mini stroke last week. “Above it all I want to thank you God for showing me all you have, waking me up today and protecting me and my family like you do,” she concluded. “THANK YOU to all my fans for your encouraging words, love and support I truly adore you!!! #IKnowHowBlessedIAm #TheManAboveHasAPlan #MyFamilyIsEverything #AllThingsMoneyCantBuy.”
Zolciak and Biermann are parents to Brielle, 18, Ariana, 13, Kroy Jr., 4, Kash, 3, and twins Kane and Kaia, nearly 2.
As previously reported by Us, Zolciak suffered a terrifying mini stroke after arriving back home in Atlanta following her Dancing With the Stars performance on Sept. 22. After days spent recovering in the hospital, the former RHOA star wasn’t cleared to fly to Los Angeles to perform and was eliminated from the competition on Monday, Sept. 28. Despite the reality personality starting an online petition to return to the competition, judge Carrie Ann Inaba told Us Weekly that Zolciak won’t be returning.
“Well, I’ve always loved somebody who doesn’t give up, okay? I think that that’s a wonderful spirit to have,” Inaba told Us on Wednesday, Sept. 30. “You should never give up. However, I also like rules, and our rules say that she has to be out. I think that it would be unfair for the other competitors if she came back because she did not compete, and it’s like she got a week to rest.”
