Kanye West and Kim Kardashian aren't married -- yet -- but Kim's family has already embraced the rapper like one of their own. Speaking about the new dad, 36, in an interview with Extra's Mario Lopez on Tuesday, Aug. 20, Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner gushed that West is "a great guy."
"We live together," she said of the hip hop star, who has been staying with Kim and their 2-month-old daughter, North, at Jenner's home. "He's my roommate. He's an amazing guy, and he is so clean. He is such a great member of my family."
Jenner also spoke about new mom Kim, who has been uncharacteristically scarce since giving birth in mid-June. "She feels so good," the Kris host gushed of her daughter, 32. "She feels healthy, she has energy, she's looking good, she's eating right. She's doing all the things that a new mom should be doing right now."
That means "enjoying the baby" -- and not worrying about work. "They just want to be nesting right now," Jenner explained of the new parents. "They're not thinking about business."
That said, Kim will continue to be an active part of the family's reality show, her mom assured Lopez. "Kim is definitely doing Keeping Up With the Kardashians," Jenner said.
Whether West will join her at all remains to be seen. But the "Black Skinhead" rapper will be making an appearance on Jenner's talk show this week. As sources revealed to Us Weekly on Aug. 19, West taped a special interview for the Friday, Aug. 23, episode of Kris, in which he talks about baby North, his relationship with the press, and his love for Kim.
