This lovey gives thanks! Though the past 12 months weren’t the easiest, a thankful Kris Jenner shared a new Instagram update on Sunday, December 27, expressing gratitude for everything that the Kardashian-Jenner family has endured in 2015.

The mom of six and grandmother of five, 60, posted a graphic that read: “Whatever happened over this past year, be thankful for where it brought you. Where you are is where you’re meant to be.”

Alongside the pic, she added a caption of her own. “Be thankful, for there are so many beautiful reasons to smile!!” the Kardashian family matriarch wrote. “Who’s ready for 2016??? #thankful #excited #newyear.”

Kris finalized her divorce from Caitlyn Jenner in late 2014, but the fallout from the split played out in the public eye after the Olympian came out as a transgender woman in an interview special this past April with Diane Sawyer. Later, Kris’ struggle with Caitlyn’s transition and the resulting icy rift between the former spouses were documented in Jenner’s Vanity Fair cover story, and subsequently on the E! reality series I Am Cait.

In fact, Kris was so upset about how she was portrayed in Buzz Bissinger‘s VF article that she said — as the Keeping Up With the Kardashians cameras were rolling — that Caitlyn could “go f–k herself.” (The moment was revealed in an emotional episode of the reality series this past October.)

However, the two ultimately made amends and even spent Thanksgiving and Christmas together with their children — as well as with Kris’ current boyfriend, Corey Gamble. In an interview with the London Evening Standard last month, the momager spoke about the tension with her ex.

“I wish everybody well,” she said of Caitlyn at the time. “When it comes to everybody else’s journey, as far as people that are trying to find themselves, this is a very fresh and new thing, so I think it’s important for me to let her tell her own story.”

Like their mom, kids Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob Kardashian, as well as Kendall and Kylie Jenner, each endured numerous struggles this year. In July, Kourtney split from her longtime boyfriend, Scott Disick, after nine years. Disick subsequently went to rehab in an attempt to clean up his hard-partying habits, while Kourtney remained home with their three kids, Mason, 5, Penelope, 3, and Reign, 12 months. The two have not reconciled.

Kylie, who turned 18 in August, moved out of Kris’ Calabasas, California mansion, and into her own $2.7 million pad. After briefly splitting from her boyfriend, Tyga, last month, the two are back together again.

Rob, meanwhile, continued to avoid the spotlight, while his best friend and big sister, Khloe Kardashian, grappled with incredible trauma in October. As reported at the time, the time, Khloe’s estranged husband, Lamar Odom, was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel. He eventually regained consciousness and has since been recovering at Cedars-Sinai hospital in L.A.

Not all news, however, has been bad news. This year was a breakout one for Kendall, who continued to rise in the fashion world, becoming the face of prestige cosmetics brand Estee Lauder. Kim and Kanye West, for their part, welcomed their second child, Saint West, on December 5.
