Kylie Jenner Sweet 16 Birthday: Drake, Big Sean, Jaden Smith Attend
Let the partying continue! After celebrating her Sweet 16 with a lavish yet intimate dinner alongside family and friends at Nobu in Malibu, Calif. on Aug 10, Kylie Jenner had a second, bigger blowout at the AT&T center in Los Angeles on Saturday, Aug. 17.
The up and coming model wore a leather black skirt and black tank top for the party, which was attended by many famous pals. Guests at the Alice in Wonderland-themed fete included beau Jaden Smith, Hailee Steinfeld, Tyga, Glee's Naya Rivera, Hailey Baldwin and Ryan Beatty.
Guests indulged in a huge black and white cake, seven golden pots of candy and trees with hanging lollipops, a source tells Us Weekly. There was a complete checkerboard dance floor to match the theme, a bartender dressed as the Mad Hatter, and a Hookah bar section.
In a huge surprise for the young model, Drake, Big Sean and The Weeknd also performed for guests. "DRAKE & BIG SEAN what?! Thank you guys so much xx," Jenner tweeted. "Thank u to everyone who came to my party and making my night so special…HAD THE BESTTT NIGHTTT."
It turns out, Kanye West may have helped organize the surprise hip hop guests. "Wow wow what an amazing night @kyliejenner I hope you had the most wonderful birthday!" Kris Jenner wrote via Instagram. "Thank you Drake AKA @champagnepapi @bigsean for the surprise performances!! #loveyoukanye." Along with the caption, the matriarch of the family shared a photo of Drake planting a kiss on Kylie's cheek.
Big sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian also shared photos getting ready and having fun at the event. "What to wear tonight?! Decisions, decisions…" Kourtney wrote, posing for a selfie in a black and white dress. The mother of two later took pictures alongside beau Scott Disick and Rivera.
Noticeably absent from both birthday parties was Kim Kardashian. The 32-year-old star instead resurfaced during the Alice in Wonderland party by posting a selfie with Instagram co-creator Kevin Systrom. In addition, a source told Us Weekly that the new mom stayed home for the first party to take care of baby North. Missing out on the Nobu feast, she later posted a sweet message to Kylie via Instagram. "Happy Birthday to my baby sis @kyliejenner!!! Can't believe your 16! I love you so much!"
