Lamar Odom's rep tells Us Weekly about his condition

Lamar Odom was hospitalized on Tuesday, Oct. 13, after being found unconscious at a Nevada brothel, and his rep tells Us Weekly exclusively that many of the reports about his condition are false.

“Family and friends are extremely concerned for Lamar,” Odom's longtime publicist and friend, Eve Sarkisyan, tells Us in a statement. “Please don't listen to the false information being circulated unofficially. Please respect the family's privacy during this difficult time.”

The Khloe & Lamar star, 35, arrived at the Love Ranch South in Pahrump, Nev., on Saturday, Oct. 10, owner Dennis Hof told Us. Two women found him unconscious in a VIP suite on Tuesday around 3 p.m. and called 911. After responders stabilized the basketball player’s condition, they took him to a local hospital. He was later transferred to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas for further care.

“He said he was just trying to get away from people so he could have some time to himself without the pressures of being who he is,” Hof recalled to Us.

An insider told Us that his ex-wife, Khloe Kardashianwas “inconsolable” and rushed to be by his side. Sister Kim Kardashian and mom Kris Jenner are also reportedly with Khloe, 31.

Recent episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians have featured Khloe still in contact with her ex-husband, and saying that she will always care for him.

The pair married in 2009 after just one month of dating. She filed divorce papers in December 2013, and they signed this past July.
