Lindsay Lohan fails to complete her community service hours again

Better get busy! Lindsay Lohan only completed 9 hours and 45 minutes of her sentenced 125 hours of community service, TMZ reports. And on Thursday, May 7, a judge told her lawyer Shawn Holley that she has to complete the remaining 116 hours by May 28. To make matters even worse, the hours were supposed to be completed this past February.

According to the site, Holley appeared in court this morning and told Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mark A. Young that Lohan was unable to complete her hours because while living in London, and without a job, she was unable to pay for the car service needed to drive her to the service organization that was located too far from her home.

Young is reportedly allowing Lohan yet another chance. The judge said that Lohan can complete the remaining hours in Brooklyn at the Brooklyn Community Center but, “if it is not done by May 28, there will be consequences."

The news comes following Lohan’s last court hearing in February, where Holley tried to argue she had completed 240 hours of service following a 2012 car crash. Prosecutors, however, disputed the hours, saying that Lohan shouldn’t get credit for “basically hanging out with” fans.

If Lohan fails to complete the hours, she could face jail time.
