Good terms? Malcolm-Jamal Warner and Regina King may be friends after all following their brutal split back in 2013. The Cosby Show actor congratulated his ex-girlfriend on her Emmys win via Twitter on Sunday, Sept. 20.
“HUGE CONGRATULATIONS @ReginaKing @UzoAduba @violadavis,” Warner, 45, tweeted. “Thank u 4 representing & affirming that integrity dignity & success CAN coexist!”
As exclusively reported, King and Warner broke up in 2013 after more than two years of dating. “It’s totally done. She’s still really disappointed that it ended and with how he did it,” a source told Us at the time. “They knew each other forever and then out of nowhere he dumped her. She’s still confused and hurt and doesn’t know what happened.”

Back in January, King hinted that Warner ended their relationship on Valentine’s Day. “Someone broke up with me on Valentine’s. D—k!” the Southland alum, 44, told Us at the Elle Women in TV Celebration event. “Yeah. I’m serious. Then he actually sent me flowers that said, ‘I still love you’ and I threw the flowers in the trash and he was upset that I threw them in the trash and I was like, ‘F—k you.’”
She continued: “I love flowers but he thought that was right. What an ass, right?”
King didn’t get upset about the past Sunday night. Instead, the actress celebrated inside the Microsoft Theater. King won her first Emmy in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie category for her role in the ABC drama American Crime.
In addition, Orange Is the New Black’s Aduba won her second consecutive trophy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Davis became the first African-American woman to win in the Lead Actress in a Drama Series category for her work in How to Get Away with Murder.
