A bun in the oven at last! A woman named Dana Griffin-Graves surprised her husband with news of her pregnancy by placing buns in the oven and a sonogram photo, and filmed his priceless reaction. Her unassuming hubby, Arkell, wept uncontrollably into his shirt after discovering the items in the oven and realizing what it meant.
The happy news comes after 17 years of trying to have children. Dana told BuzzFeed that she delivered a stillborn and then had three miscarriages, and five years ago, had officially given up on their dream of becoming parents.
“It just didn’t work out,” she told the site. “So we kind of gave up.”
Dana, who was five months pregnant when she broke the news to her hubby, said she knew something was up when she wasn’t losing weight like her friends were from their daily walks.
“I was ecstatic,” she told BuzzFeed. “We hadn’t planned anything, we weren’t trying.”
