John Mayer Helps Reunite Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson

Forget Match.com! There's a new matchmaker in Hollywood: John Mayer.

The 32-year-old singer helped reunite exes Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson Monday at New York City nightclub Butter.

When Mayer stopped by the hot spot, he shuttled back and forth between the scorned lovers -- who split in April after two years together -- and eventually got the pair talking before the night's end.

Initially camped out at Mayer's table, Lohan, 23, was joined by Ronson, 32, after Mayer spoke with the deejay. The women were seen laughing and talking for the night, which ended around 3 a.m. with Lohan and Ronson leaving the club separately.

"Lindsay seemed happier than she has in ages," a witness at Butter tells the New York Daily News. "Sam eventually got up and deejayed for a while, and Lindsay kept standing up and looking over to the deejay booth, smiling."

This is not the first time Mayer -- who romanced Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz and Jessica Simpson -- has doled out love advice.

At a Saturday Night Live afterparty last month, the "Battle Studies" singer lectured a bevy of beauties about finding The One.
